Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why can't I see any devices?

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone. The App requires Bluetooth permission to scan for nearby BLE devices. Check Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth.

Q: Why does the app ask for location permission?

Location permission is required only for iBeacon scanning functionality. If you don't need iBeacon detection, you can deny this permission and all other features will work normally.

Q: My device disconnects immediately after connecting.

Some BLE devices have short connection timeouts or require specific pairing procedures. Try moving closer to the device and ensure it's in a connectable state.

Q: The Graph tab shows no data.

The Graph tab displays numeric data from characteristic reads and notifications. Make sure the characteristic you're reading contains numeric values (not text strings).

Q: How do I export session data?

Open a session from the History tab, then tap the Export button in the top-right corner. You can share the data as JSON via the iOS share sheet.
